Todd Southerland provides strategic industry guidance to JAMAS Capital Management as the firm executes its investment strategies and develops industry relationships in the protein and agri-foods space. He is instrumental in identifying potential agri-foods and related business opportunities for future expansion, including acquisitions.
Southerland serves as executive vice president of growth and sustainability at Florida Beef Inc., which operates beef processing facilities focused on mature grass-fed cattle. Prior to Florida Beef, he worked in corporate banking with institutions including Truist (formerly SunTrust), Wells Fargo and John Hancock.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Vanderbilt University and studied international trade and finance at the London School of Economics. He has also completed executive education programs in agribusiness and related fields at Harvard Business School and the Kellogg School of Management.
