JACKSON, Miss., March 1, 2026 — JAMAS Capital Management announced that Eric Butler has been promoted to controller and chief accounting officer. Butler has been with the company for more than 17 years and has played a key role in supporting financial operations and long-term growth.
In his expanded role, Butler oversees accounting responsibilities for more than 40 operating and investment entities. His work includes managing accounting functions, performing financial analysis, and overseeing tax preparation for each entity to help ensure accurate reporting and sound financial management.
Butler works closely with company leadership, providing guidance on budget management, cost-benefit analysis, tax planning and financial forecasting. His insights help inform both strategic planning and day-to-day operational decisions across the organization.
